A great carbon fiber tripod. I'm using it with my Seestar telescopes in conjunction with a SkyWatcher wedge, and it is excellent for that application. The half-bowl feature makes it easy to level the telescope without having to adjust the individual tripod legs.
My first professional tripod and certainly the best one I've ever owned. I'm a 5'2" woman, and this tripod is portable and lightweight. I did buy my own fluid head separately. Before then, I would attach my Ronin gimbal to it (or a mount from a previous "semi-pro" tripod on it), and it worked out well (although the "semi-pro" mount was subpar quality, totes affected the user experience of the tripod). The legs are super stable and lock in place quite well. I also don't recall it being that expensive compared to other options I was considering. Keep in mind, I bought it used for occasional short film/photography use, so I can't speak to the durability too much; however, about a year later, it still holds up well.
I have been using this telescope for over a year for my Questar 3.5" telescope and have been very pleased with its performance and durability. It handles the payload of the scope and an elevator platform with ease - vibrations are dampened within a second, allowing high power eyepieces to be used. So, it has worked very well for this application. Recommended.
Una calidad Brutal
It was an excellent purchase, the materials are of excellent quality, they feel very stable and rigid, in the highest mode I was surprised since I didn't think it was that high, the tripod bag feels very strong and internally very soft, it certainly far exceeded my expectations.
