So the backup camera on a 2015 Honda Civic is already recessed a bit, so water doesn’t hit it directly, but I was still getting water on there which rendered it useless. I thought this would remedy my issue by blocking water better, but unfortunately I was wrong and my view would still get obscured with the rain.The camera cover itself is made of silicone and is pretty soft. In order to stick it to your car, there is an adhesive on the back that you stick directly to your car. It was also very easy to install. In terms of durability, it's held up well and the adhesive hasn’t weakened. It also does make my car look like it had a mustache, which is pretty funny.I really wanted this camera cover to work on my vehicle and still think it will work on vehicles where the camera is not recessed. But as I said, it didn’t really make an impact on my vehicle which is the reason for my rating.
