The hood features a φ46mm female thread, allowing for the attachment of a φ46mm lens protection filter. (No vignetting has been confirmed.) While the original lens cap can be attached to the inside of the hood, repeated use may cause the matte black paint to peel off. Therefore, do not attach the cap directly to the hood. Instead, attach a protection filter inside the hood first, then attach the cap to the filter.
