She had ease with the setup, so far she is enjoying it.
This kit is actually pretty nice if you're trying to turn your phone into a more serious video setup. The dual handles make a big difference for stability, and it feels much more controlled than just holding your phone. It’s especially helpful for walking shots, interviews, or social media videos. The included wireless lav microphones are a big plus. They’re convenient and make audio sound much clearer compared to using the phone’s built-in mic. The tripod is also useful for desk setups or static shots, so you can switch between handheld and stationary pretty easily. The rig itself has multiple mounting points, which is nice if you want to add lights or other accessories. Kits like this are designed to turn a phone into a “full-fledged production rig” with dual grips, microphones, and tripod support in one setup. The downside is that the whole setup can feel a little bulky once everything is attached. It’s not something you’ll just throw in your pocket, and setup takes a few minutes. Also, the build is good, but still more consumer-grade than professional camera rigs.Overall, it’s a solid all-in-one smartphone filming kit. Good stabilization, better audio with the wireless mics, and useful accessories. Great option if you're filming content with your phone and want something more professional without buying a full camera.
So far I love my kit. I’ve used it a handful of times. The mics are amazing!
It can be a daunting task to try to buy all sorts of separate accessories to take phone video filming to the next level. Honestly, if I'm just using a smartphone for filming, it's probably not really even worth the time to spend too much time and money on that setup, which is why this kit is a great starting point. It includes all the basics needed for filming video as well as accessories one might never even use. The only thing that feels like it's missing is a gimble stabilizer. The main accessory is probably the stabilizer cage, and while it doesn't have a gimble, it does allow for increased stability through holding the two side handles. The cage also has mount points to mount other accessories to it like the lighting element and threads to screw onto a tripod. It's also designed to fit a wide range of phone sizes.Speaking of tripods, it includes a small tripod that is also perfect for travel and as a handheld selfie vlog option. The full-size tripod also collapses down to a relatively small footprint. The head of the full tripod could be better for video filming, but for a smartphone setup, it's serviceable. The kit also includes a few mic options that are easily upgrades over using the phone's built-in microphone.Overall, this kit is a great starting point without costing too much to get going with filming with phones. Everything is easy to use and straight forward.
Five stars because this video rig kit is exactly what I hoped it would be: sturdy, simple, and ready to work even if I haven’t made the space to set up my little Amazon‑review photo/video corner yet. That’s on me, not the kit.The sturdiness is the first thing that stood out — it feels stable and well‑built, not flimsy or wobbly. The whole setup is genuinely easy to use. The Bluetooth connectivity paired instantly, and the remote control works without any fuss, which is all I really want from a remote. The mounting options are flexible, so the mountability is great no matter what type of phone you use, or even a small camera. And for the price, the value for money is absolutely there. It’s a straightforward, well‑designed kit that does its job without drama — my favorite kind of gear.
