I'm really glad to have these on hand for use with foods, meds, and supplements. I'm not exactly opposed to using more conventional desiccants (silica beads in bleached paper or plastic) for these applications, but it seems likely that the manufacturing process for these produces less waste. And when it's time to toss them, well, it doesn't get much more guilt-free than putting unbleached paper and DIRT (clay) into the trash or into the ground.If you're trying to dry solvents or 3D printer filament, it might make sense to pick something more aggressive, even at the cost of a dirtier manufacturing chain. For most day-to-day use, though, these should do the trick. Recommended!

These work great, in-fact they're so good I bought 3 bags. Moral: don't deny yourself the good things. Which is true, especially so when these are packs are so incredibly cost-effective - working & protecting delicate and valuable items. Not everything is prone to moisture damage, so use them where YOU think they'll do the most good. If you're not sure about something, either look it up or ask your friendly AI.Personally, I purchased these 2 gram packets for a specific purpose - and they're the perfect size & shape for what I need. You should know that these are available many different sizes & shapes.The only limit is your imagination.My words of advice;Protect what's valuable.With these or similar items, purchase more than you need, you'll always find a use for them & they don' go bad (if you properly reseal the bag they packed in).Remember: if its worth protecting, you might want to consider swapping/replacing these "with new desiccant packs" after a certain amount of time.For ME, that's 1 year.Because nothing lasts forever & if these packs are doing their job, then swapping them out with new ones will only help them to continue doing that job, protecting from any potential moisture damage.Best of all, they're 100% biodegradable and non-toxic. You can't get better than that!
